A Milestone 5th Year For Burlamacco Ristorante with More Delicious Experiences For Diners

Five years ago, Burlamacco Ristorante opened its doors to excite diners with the rich and colourful flavours of Tuscany, Owner and Chef Gabriele Piegaia’s home in Italy. Now, having celebrated its auspicious 5th birthday, diners can look forward to refreshed experiences through some refurbishments to the restaurant in the coming months, weekend indulgences and more delicious additions to Chef Gabriele’s vibrant repertoire of dishes.

While the restaurant’s bestselling favourites Hand-chopped Tuna Tartare and Linguine with Boston Lobster Tail are still available, highly recommended highlights include Balsamic Grilled Octopus, Cacciucco Traditional Tuscan Seafood Stew, Herbed Crusted Lamb Rack with Pumpkin in Black Truffle Sauce. With desserts also being a favourite among Burlamacco’s diners, the ‘Crostata’ Oven-Baked Dark Chocolate Tart, ‘Pavlova’ Meringue and selection of home-made gelatos are not to be missed.

Whether with business clients, work colleagues or friends, the warm service and cosy setting makes Burlamacco an ideal place for lunch. With a three-course lunch set menu ($35++ per person) that changes every two weeks based on Chef Gabriele’s hand-picked selection of fresh produce, everyone is assured of an outstanding dining experience.

The restaurant also serves gluten-free pasta and Chef Gabriele is always happy to accommodate various dietary requirements on request.

Exceptional Wines for Exceptional Dining
Among Burlamacco’s extensive cellar of over 120 Italian wines are a range of organic and bio-diverse wines from Tuscany and Veneto – Fattoria Barbi, Frescobaldi, Pra and Garbole are just some of the labels to showcase Italy as the country with the most vineyard-related biodiversity in the world.

Diners can also order some of the best Italian wines by the half bottle (375ml), from a Cecchi Chianti Classico ($48) to a Marchesi di Barolo Tradizione ($78) to the Frescobaldi Brunello di Montalcino ($98), with more Italian labels and half bottles from the New World and France available.

Every Tuesday and Sunday, there is no corkage charge (usually $30++) for those wanting to enjoy Burlamacco’s food with their own wines.

Burlamacco Weekends
Fans of Italian food, avid foodies and weekend brunch revellers can gather for the Ultimate Recovery Brunch, an Italian feast for the senses, every Saturday and Sunday from 11.30am to 2.30pm. For just $78++ per person, the menu showcases Chef Gabriele Piegaia’s classic specialties for diners to indulge on and order as much as they want, alongside two hours of free-flow Bloody Mary, Espresso Martini, Prosecco and wines ($48++ food only, add $12++ for free-flow soft drinks, coffee and tea). Kids can also enjoy Burlamacco’s spread at $24++ per child up to 12 years old.
