ARTOTEL Sanur – Bali is back in collaboration with one of the artists from Jakarta, Istanbul presenting an art exhibition entitled ‘Amplifying Mind and Optical Paradox.’ Teater Kalangan performed as the opening act, and this exhibition started openly to the public from May 20, 2022, to August 20, 2022, at Artspace Artotel Sanur – Bali.
Originally from Jakarta and he wasn’t born into a family of artists, Istanbul completed his studies at The London School of Public Relations Jakarta, expressing his creativity in music, fashion and in 2011 Istanbul began to paint but never showed his work to the public.
Amplifying Mind and Optical Paradox or strengthening optical thoughts and paradoxes is the title and a theme that combines natural thoughts with instincts that in the essence are very strong when accessed optimally. For the first time, Istanbul will hold a solo exhibition at Artotel Sanur by presenting a visual analogy in paradoxical, absurd, and mysterious form, penetrating the space between the basic nature of human instincts and social values that represent the life phase himself. Agus Ade Surya Wirawan, General Manager of ARTOTEL Sanur – Bali said “It’s an honor for ARTOTEL Sanur – Bali to be able to work with Jakarta-based artists.
