Anse Chastanet – St. Lucia, Caribbean – 4 Star Boutique Resort

Anse Chastanet is designed in harmony with nature and is enhanced by wrap-around balconies, showers with breathtaking views, and Kai Belte Spa on the beach.

At Anse Chastanet Resort you experience the romance of the Caribbean as it should be…the resort is the vision of owner/architect Nick Troubetzkoy and is designed in harmony with nature, complementing the island’s natural beauty. The 600-acre site is a lush garden of tropical foliage bordering one of the island’s best beaches, where soft sands dip into the clear turquoise waters of the Caribbean. A second beach, Anse Mamin, belonging to the estate is just around the corner and can be reached by the Resort’s water taxi. St Lucia’s trademark green peaks – the Gros and Petit Pitons – make for a dramatic backdrop. Anse Chastanet offers 49 uniquely designed rooms, 37 of which are scattered about a flower-decked hillside, and 12 of which are located within a tropical garden at beach level.

Some of the best dining in Soufriere and St. Lucia can be found at Anse Chastanet. An enticing selection of options is available in a number of intimate hillside and beachside locations. You can pre-book private dining arrangements at the water’s edge on Anse Chastanet beach or in the spa cottage ‘Kai Mer’ overlooking the Caribbean. Whether you prefer fine tropical Caribbean Cuisine, exotic Creole flavors, or simple grilled fare, you will find it available and more. Culinary options also include a St.Lucia-East Indian menu titled Apsara, a wholly vegetarian restaurant called Emerald’s and last not least the Jungle Grill for daytime casual dining on the resort’s second beach ‘Anse Mamin’. And of course, all of our kitchen receive organic produce from our resort farm Emerald’s in the Soufriere hills.

INSIDER TIPS

Please note that there are approximately 100 stairs leading from beach level to the mid-hillside level, thus making the property unsuitable for those with walking difficulties or cardiac problems. This is never a question of age.

LEISURE

While the sensuous seclusion of the rooms provides some guests with the perfect excuse for lolling away the day on the balcony, others head out to partake of the many activities on offer; snorkeling, scuba diving, tennis, sunset sailing, jungle biking, ‘kool kayaking’ or a nature walk among the ruins of a colonial plantation. The less actively inclined ‘simply do nothing,’ lie on the beach or enjoy one of the therapeutic body and beauty treatments offered by Anse Chastanet’s spa, Kai Belté, located at beach level. There’s also a casual, beachside bar and restaurant and a panoramic hillside terrace where breakfast and afternoon tea are served daily. Dinners are a romantic candlelit affair with a daily changing menu celebrating Tropical World Cuisine, with musical backdrops provided by local entertainers.

SPA

Kai Belté Spa – Professionally trained therapists using only quality products offer a variety of body and beauty treatments, including massage therapy, deep tissue massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, facials, paraffin treatments, waxing, pedicure and manicure and even hair braiding. Massage and aromatherapy treatments can be done at Kai Belte or in the privacy of the guest rooms. Kai Belte also offers a couples massage course, especially popular with honeymooners (still) eager to learn yet another way to spoil each other.
