Anse Chastanet – St. Lucia, Caribbean – Boutique Hotel
ROOMS & SUITES: 49
Anse Chastanet is set amid a lush 600-acre estate with two soft-sand beaches and breathtaking views of St. Lucia’s twin Piton Mountains and the Caribbean Sea.
Reflecting the environmental philosophy of its owner/architect Nick Troubetzkoy, the resort is in harmony with its surroundings from its low-roofed architecture to the tropical hardwood furniture in its 49 rooms. Making the most of St. Lucia’s lush tropical beauty, activities range from jungle biking, hiking, and bird watching to snorkeling on the reef within swimming distance of the beach, scuba diving in the surrounding marine reserve, relaxing in the tranquil Kai Belté Spa, or just swaying in a hammock by the sea.

Please note that there are approximately 100 stairs leading from beach level to the mid-hillside level, thus making the property unsuitable for those with walking difficulties or cardiac problems. This is never a question of age.
While the sensuous seclusion of the rooms provides some guests with the perfect excuse for lolling away the day on the balcony, others head out to partake of the many activities on offer; snorkeling, scuba diving, tennis, sunset sailing, jungle biking, ‘kool kayaking’ or a nature walk among the ruins of a colonial plantation. The less actively inclined ‘simply do nothing,’ lie on the beach or enjoy one of the therapeutic body and beauty treatments offered by Anse Chastanet’s spa, Kai Belté, located at beach level. There’s also a casual, beachside bar and restaurant and a panoramic hillside terrace where breakfast and afternoon tea are served daily. Dinners are a romantic candlelit affair with a daily changing menu celebrating Tropical World Cuisine, with musical backdrops provided by local entertainers.
Kai Belté Spa – Professionally trained therapists using only quality products offer a variety of body and beauty treatments, including massage therapy, deep tissue massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, facials, paraffin treatments, waxing, pedicure and manicure and even hair braiding. Massage and aromatherapy treatments can be done at Kai Belte or in the privacy of the guest rooms. Kai Belte also offers a couples massage course, especially popular with honeymooners (still) eager to learn yet another way to spoil each other.
