After last year’s success, The Trans Resort Bali is once again collaborating with French community in Bali to commence the French National Day celebration (known as Bastille Day) on Saturday, 7 July 2018, when the Ambassador of French to Indonesia Mr. Jean-Charles Berthonnet will be invited to open this annual French ceremony.

Jointly organised by one of the respected board members of the organizing committee, de Saint Priest d’Urgel, Marie Francoise, Bastille Day 2018 celebration at The Trans Resort Bali will be a magical event filled with French cultures, cuisines, and entertainment which was attended by 200 guests and dignitaries.

The evening started with a welcoming cocktail reception at The Trans Resort Bali’s pool deck. Surrounded by a serene tropical garden overlooking the signature White Sandy Beach Pool. Afterwards, the guests were enjoying the nice cocktails, wines, and canapes while mingling with other guests. After an hour of cocktails and live music performance, the Bastille Day celebration was officially opened by Mr. Jean-Charles Berthonnet as the French Ambassador to Indonesia and followed with the fireworks.

The main event started at the luxurious grand ballroom where guests enjoyed the amazing Moulin Rouge cabaret show performed by 9 talented Indonesian dancers. The show features French music complete with state-of-the-art stage lighting and dazzling acrobatic displays. Apart from the mesmerizing cabaret show, guests were spoiled with the extensive French buffet spread inspired by the region of France from the Provence to North East, such as Bouillabesse Fish Soup, Charcuterie, and Assorted Alsatian Quiche and Flamenkuche.

“Bastille Day at The Trans Resort Bali is far more than a national day celebration event for French community. It provides the French-inspired experience to other non-French guests with its food, traditions and cultures. Moreover, the Moulin Rouge cabaret show is definitely something to remember” says Alexander Jovanovic – General Manager and Director Development The Trans Hotels and Resorts.
