“CHINESE NEW YEAR TEMPLE FAIR” AT DUBAI PARKS & RESORTS

In celebration of the Chinese New Year, Dubai Parks and Resorts presents the “Chinese New Year Temple Fair” at Riverland™ Dubai from February 10th-24th, 2018.

Dubai Parks and Resorts, the largest integrated theme park destination, invites the residents and visitors of Dubai to enjoy an authentic Chinese experience during the Spring Festival. Guests will enjoy a host of Chinese cultural activities and entertainment, including a traditional Chinese market, roaming acts, pasting couplets – which are one of the oldest traditions of celebration and represent wishes for a better new year. The French Village zone within Riverland™ Dubai will be lit up with a Chinese lanterns display, and will host the favorite Chinese traditions – the red pocket tree – a beautiful wishing tree full of lucky red wishing cards and gifts which adults and children will equally enjoy.

Guests will experience an authentic Chinese market offering arts and crafts such as clay figurines, sugar paintings, coconut carvings, lacquer ware, in addition to various Chinese food & beverage options. The market will also feature themed roaming acts including puppet shows, folk theater, Sichuan opera and a spectacular firework show that will be held daily throughout the festival.
