Millennium Hotels and Resorts introduces MICE campaign with authentic local experiences and personalised benefits that enrich and enhance
Global hospitality group, Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR), today launched The Extra Millennium Mile – an all-encompassing MICE offering created around its Singapore and Southeast Asia properties, designed for meeting planners who want their events to ‘go the extra mile’. The campaign adopts two key value-added initiatives: by bringing authentic local culture into the meeting experience in each of its four key Singapore hotels; while across its wider Southeast Asia portfolio – introducing more personalised benefits that enhance the touchpoints that truly matter.
Four of MHR’s participating Singapore hotels—launching with Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore and Copthorne King’s Hotel; followed by Orchard Hotel Singapore and M Hotel Singapore later this year—will roll out a series of curated experiential meeting packages, each tailored to showcase a different side of Singapore’s cultural identity and heritage and offer MICE delegates a warm Singapore welcome. From cultural activities over coffee breaks to traditional sweet treats during turn down service, delegates are given the opportunity to explore and uncover the best aspects of the multicultural city-state, right from their meeting grounds.

Themed Live Like a Local, Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore aims to provide MICE delegates with an authentic local experience through thoughtfully-designed touchpoints throughout their stay. From a welcome drink concocted using ingredients representative of multi-ethnic Singapore, to an in-room Live Like a Local Survival Kit comprising of traditional snacks and sweets, MICE delegates can look forward to immersing themselves in all-things local.
Over at Copthorne King’s Hotel, Peranakan Passion is the theme of the property’s MICE campaign. From peranakan kebaya overlays adorning the tables, to mini kaya jars, bottled traditional Buah Long Long drinks offered in-room during turn down service, and traditional Nyonya Kueh making workshop helmed by the chef, an immersive Peranakan experience awaits MICE delegates at Copthorne King’s Hotel.
Later this year, delegates at Orchard Hotel Singapore can toast to the world-famous Orchard shopping belt’s rich plantation past with contemporary spice-based welcome cocktails while soaking up botanical-inspired interiors of its refreshed function spaces. M Hotel Singapore will pay tribute to its iconic neighbourhood, where delegates can savour Singapore’s culinary past and present through a spread that starts from the 1960s and ends in some of today’s most inventive modern fusion flavours.
As a way to top off ‘The Extra Millennium Mile’, all four Singapore properties, along with select Southeast Asia properties, will offer meeting organisers who book for stays within the year an additional tacticial offer – two complimentary benefits of their choice.
