Greet the New Year in style at Café del Mar
Bali’s newest beach club has plenty of surprises in store for this holiday period.
As one of Bali’s most lavish new beach clubs, Café del Mar Bali is pulling out all the stops for its first festive season. The beachside resident of Berawa, nudging the lively hubs of Canggu and Seminyak, has confirmed a busy holiday period ahead with a series of special events to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Eve. In-keeping with Café del Mar’s reputation as the world’s leading chill house label, expect an impressive line-up of international DJ guests, with a sophisticated series of set menus to match.
Ample festive feasting can be had on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, when Café del Mar Bali, which only recently welcomed its premium dining restaurant, will introduce a set menu in ode to the occasion. The set menu will be share-style, designed for two people minimum. Nibble on prawn-stuffed barramundi, and roast chicken with black garlic stuffing, accompanied by hasselback potatoes and more. To finish, tuck into custard tart garnished with Christmas spices, and the all-important pavlova, topped with charcoal and mango.
The arrival of New Year’s Eve will similarly introduce another set menu; this time involving the likes of a slipper lobster, crab and squid ink raviolo, topped with green apple and radish, followed by a tiramisu bombe alaska.
Post-feast the party begins. New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day will see three of the world’s top DJs arrive to entertain the masses. Dimitri in Paris and David Morales have been confirmed pre-countdown, with guests invited to dance well into the night; the venue has introduced extended hours for the occasion, not closing its doors until 3.00am. Enjoy the spectacle from one of the many drinking and dining packages available; perhaps you prefer the comfort of your own daybed with five friends for just IDR12,000,000 or the exclusive pool booth with 14 others at IDR30,000,000. All packages offer a series of complimentary drinks.
On New Year’s Day, recover from the night before with a special musical set from Bristol-native Eats Everything, considered one of the UK’s finest dance music exports. The same entertainment packages for guests will remain, with the most indulgent the ‘Master Drinks & Eats Everything’ treating 25 guests to entry, alongside three hours of drinks (beer, wine, and cocktails included) as well as unlimited food.
