Herb Library Bali at Adiwana Resort Jembawan as Best Vegan Restaurant in Ubud

This year, 2018 is another great year for Herb Library Restaurant at Adiwana Resort Jembawan. For the 2nd times this restaurant joined Bali Best Restaurant Bar and Café Award on Best Vegan Restaurant category which was held by Now Bali Magazine. This is an annual campaign of Now Bali Magazine was started back in 2015, the aim of the campaign is to promote the many high-quality food and beverage in Bali. The winner was chosen based on online voting with more than 180 of Bali’s top food and beverage venues joined for 20 different categories.

Last year in 2017, Herb library Bali for the first time joined the event and got 2nd runner up for Best Vegan Restaurant. And again this year, compete with more than 5 vegan restaurants in Bali, this restaurant brings their second trophy home as 1st Runner Up. The gala awards was held on 25th October 2018 after two months of online voting starting August until September 2018.

Establish since December 2016, Herb Library is an alternative concept on the in Ubud dining scene. With many restaurants in the town now serving vegan cuisine, Herb Library’s menu dares to be a little bit different, offers Herbivore dishes with a tasty range of carefully sourced Omnivore options. None of the dishes are deep-fried and everything is freshly made to order. This ensures that the flavours of the herbs and vegetables, delivered within 24 hours from local farms, remain as fresh as the day they were picked.

Using more than 90% locally sourced ingredients, the menu includes an interesting selection of Balinese, Indonesian and other dishes that have a multi-cultural heritage which focus on serving healthy, nutrition-packed, balanced, satisfying meals, full of fresh and earthy goodness. These, bring Herb Library as a member of Slow Food Bali, a global, grassroots movement that links the pleasure of food with a commitment to community and the environment.

Located at the front entrance of Adiwana Resort Jembawan, this healthy dining venue opens from 7am to 11pm for breakfast, lunch and dinner with many selections of healthy and organic dishes together with a selection of fresh juices, local tea and artisan coffees.
