Inara Hotels & Resorts Completes Acquisition of The Sun Heaven Ubud by Inara
Inara Hotels & Resorts, part of Jeevawasa’s portfolio of over 20 collections, announces its newest acquisition with the rebranding of The Sun Heaven Ubud into The Sun Heaven Ubud by Inara in August 2021. “Inara Hotels & Resorts is a selected array of boutique resorts bearing originality and unique charm. Our collections under this brand emphasize the distinctive design and underlying values of each resort,” as stated by Adiguna Kusuma, CEO of Adiwana, Amatara and Inara Hotels & Resorts. This milestone signals the brand’s debut in the highlands of Tegallalang, Ubud.
The Sun Heaven Ubud by Inara is recognized as “an escape to paradise”, grounded by the philosophy that it is a hidden paradise created by God and presented on earth. Surrounded by uninterrupted green rice fields in the sought-after Ubud district, specifically in the traditional village of Kenderan, Tegallalang, the resort was designed with a focus to discover the simple pleasures in an idyllic haven. The new approach for The Sun Heaven Ubud by Inara aims to curate memorable experiences at a retreat where guests can connect, find balance, and discover a sense of belonging.
The Sun Heaven Ubud by Inara features 24 stylishly appointed rooms and villas in five room categories, including eight Deluxe Garden Rooms, eight Inara Suite Rooms, two Heavenly Suite Rooms, four units of One-Bedroom Pool Villas, and two units of Two-Bedroom Pool Villas. Each room category is completed with custom-made wooden accents and well-designed areas to sleep, unwind and bathe in style. The villas radiate a luxury feeling through its spacious corners, private swimming pool, and snug living room equipped with quality audio speakers. Complimented by the surrounding lavish scenery and tranquil ambience, the resort truly lives up to its name.
Starting as early as their reservation, guests will receive a warm welcome, and will continue to experience the simple acts of care and thoughtfulness that ring true to the brand’s philosophy throughout their stay. Find relaxation or kick back in a soothing setting by enjoying a variety of options from indoor to outdoor resort facilities and a wide selection of guest activities. From the outdoor infinity pool, yoga lounge, gym, poolside stage, gazebos, to the kids pool and playground, everything is prepared to keep guests entertained throughout their vacation at this family-friendly resort. Step out of the resort and explore the countryside with your own dedicated guide through the morning walk and village cycling activity. Private cooking classes and making offering sessions are also offered for guests who look to bring home a token of their stay in Bali.
Guests are invited to eat well from The Sun Heaven Ubud by Inara’s signature restaurant, Kunang-Kunang Restaurant, whose name is taken from the Bahasa word meaning “firefly”. From dusk until dawn, usually during the rainy season of August until December, guests often encounter these small magical creatures as they perch on the greening rice fields. Like the firefly that emits an enchanting glow, the restaurant aspires to become the light of the resort. Kunang-Kunang Restaurant provides plates of delicious food paired with the region’s best wine and a serene view, as it is set in the upper level of the lobby.
Follow the pathway to Tejas Spa and enjoy their trademark treatments using chosen local Balinese herbs, designed specifically for those who seek to maintain their wellbeing routines during their stay. Offering two treatment rooms, guests can indulge in a variety of wellness programs, ranging from a relaxation massage to an intensive detox program. To perfect the experience, guests are spoiled with the sight and sounds of nature in every step taken at the spa. Adjacent to the world-renowned Tegallalang rice fields, also famous as one of the spots in the movie Eat, Pray, Love, The Sun Heaven Ubud by Inara is a one-hour drive away from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Head down to the city center with a mere 20-minutes drive from the resort, and guests can find numerous art centers, a royal palace, gorgeous restaurants and even a small forest filled with cheeky monkeys. The Sun Heaven Ubud by Inara presents a private getaway for those seeking a peaceful retreat in contemporary style and comfort.
