A charming getaway
Built on 3600m2 of land at Jimbaran beach area, in the center of Kedonganan street in Jimbaran village, Jimbaran Bay Beach Resort & Spa provides 118 rooms, with eleven room types. The room categories be named by Balinese dances name, such as kecak, puspanjali, janger and many more.
Entrance at the alfresco lobby area, a warm and friendly staff is welcoming me upon arrival. They led me to the reception, and then I sat on comfortable yet airy lobby area. While waiting, they give me the fresh towel and welcome drink.
Experienced at the premium suite category named Janger room, my first impression was huge and generous room space. No wonder, because the size is about 86m2, and as soon as we stepped into the room, my children runs every side in the room, sufficient for they to played hide and seek.
Appointed with authentic luxury design, each room affording all modern comforts including 40 inch satellite TV, IDD Phone, Wi-Fi connection, king size bed, dining table, dressing table, single sofa chair with legs rest. Completed hotel amenities including bathrobe, pantry with medium size refrigerator and capsule coffee machine, sumptuous bathroom with relaxing bathtub and shower facing to ocean view. A private balcony is placed in every room, overlooking one of two sites, the beach, and the swimming pool.
It was great that Jimbaran Beach Resort and Spa team make a perfect stay experience arrangement to me. They prepared me 60 minutes Balinese massage at Lotus Spa. It’s begun with a foot cleansing using warm water and rubbing of salt and lime into the feet. A treatment designed to release tension by giving a soothing massage; with medium pressure, that I choose when write on concern letter at the spa reception.
My treatment started from the calf and thigh with precise measure as she gradually moved to the upper part of the body. Selected natural ingredients are used in the products that having its own qualities that provide benefit to the skin. After the treatment, I had a cup of ginger tea at the relaxing lounge.
The Baruna sky lounge and restaurant was signature place here. Located on top at the highest floors on the resort you can enjoy evening cocktails while looking at the ocean breeze and watching the airplane take off or landed. Entertaining with the live music, comfort sofas, with sunset and romantic ambience it was perfect appointed to end your evening till dinnertime.
The dining options on offer here are fantastic. They have daily dinner theme, such as Pasar Senggol on Monday that serves Balinese and Indonesian food, Kedonganan seafood market on Saturday, BBQ night at Friday, and other theme in each day. Guest can enjoy their dinner both in Hiu Restaurant and Baruna sky lounge.
Next to swimming pool, Hiu restaurant and wine lounge is a perfect place to start a day by breakfast. They serves Eastern, Western, and Indonesian meals in buffet line.
