ARTOTEL Sanur – Bali is honored to showcase “MATTERS” by Pascal Hierholz, also known as “Paisi”, the newest featured art exhibition at the hotel’s ARTSPACE.
Originally from France, Pascal Hierholz is both a Contemporary Artist and Creative Director in advertising, design, and digital communication. He began his career as an Art Director in Paris before traveling the world, ticking off major continents along the way. Eventually enraptured by Indonesia, the artist took up residence in 2010.
His works convey the many settings, experiences, and stories he has accumulated during his stay in Indonesia and give testament to his deep appreciation for the natural beauty and culture of the land. As of recently, his artworks have also come to comment on the sociopolitical climate of the country, giving the opportunity for bold experimentation with mediums such as oil paint and Chinese ink.
