Mothercare’s “My Summer Party Look” event at Beachwalk

After 7 years since present in Bali, Mothercare, the leading brand in mothers, babies and children’s product, celebrates summer and fashion all in one event. As part of their #iwearmothercare campaign, Mothercare wanted to make fashion as a tool to create a bond between mother and their children. Mother is the best stylist for a child, and Mothercare is here to make fashion fun with their latest Summer collection.

This August, Mothercare hosted the “Summer in Style” event in collaboration with Havaianas as the premium flip flop brand from Brazil, at the Fountain Stage, Beachwalk Shopping Center. This is the second event that Mothercare hosted in Bali. Event highlights are the Mothercare Fashion Show that features beautiful mothers and children of Bali. Some of the names that will be joining the event are Indonesian model, Indah Kalalo and her three daughters, and Bali’s socialites Paloma Blanco and Tantri Mantra with their kids. Another highlight is the entertainment by Ale, a talented 8 years old disc jockey from Bali.

Also in support of this event is Early Learning Center, a brand specialized in educational toy from UK. They will provide fun and exciting #IPLAYELC activities for children with their outdoor toys collection. Through the #IPLAYELC activities, Early Learning Center wants to contribute in educating the mothers that learning can be done even when children are having fun playing.

DJ Ale - 8 years old

The new collection is designed for boys and girls from the age of 0-10 years old by the Mothercare design team. For Summer in Style, Mothercare will showcase 25 looks from the candy kimono, under the sea, glam tropic, vacation, and the fresh preppy collection. This includes tops, bottoms, dresses, jacket and outer, footwear and accessories.

“This event is one of the series in the #iwearmothercare campaign that has been running all through 2017. Not only does Mothercare presents an eye catchy fashion collection, they also put comfort and security first in all their products,” says Abi Shihab, Manager & Communications of Mothercare & ELC.

 

Comfort is key, and this is shown in each Mothercare fashion items. There is no label sewn in the collar to avoid skin irritation. There is no use of nickel material in these products so that the buttons and zipper will not be rusty. They also have a zipper protector to prevent friction between the skin and the zipper. The price range for these micro fashion items starts from IDR 89.000 for t-shirts and IDR 199.000 for shorts.
