Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali

Filled with a plethora of all-inclusive resorts nestled along miles of white-sand beaches with year-round tropical temperatures, Bali remains a popular vacation spot for families. As tourism increases in Bali’s exotic destinations, more and more family-friendly resorts are catering to those wanting a more adventurous vacation. The new comer of family resort frontier in Bali is Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali, the first Mövenpick brand in Indonesia.

This southern-most area of Bali is also renowned for its astounding scenery and has become one of the sought after development areas by some of the world’s most luxurious hotel brands. Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali is here and situated less than 15 minutes away from Bali’s international Airport.

When we drop our car, their concierge team unload our luggage and valet park my car, so I can start relaxing and exploring straight away. Fresh herbs drinks called ‘beras kencur’ and ‘kunir asam’ an Indonesian specialty healthy drink with cold towel is welcoming us and just right refreshment on the sunny day.

Entering the al fresco lobby area, it feels huge and spacious. Mixes a contemporary Balinese style with unmistakably modern twists. Upon check in time, the cute turtle doll from Mövenpick is given to my two sons. From the moment you arrive, you’ll discover that as well as being a child friendly hotel.

This hotel complex is sited on approximately two hectare of land, with 297 rooms, divided into seven rooms category, Classic, Classic Pool View, Junior Suite, Family Room, Family Pool View, Premium Suite, and Jimbaran Pool Suite.

I enjoyed the classic pool view room. The 34 sqm room furnished with air conditioning controlled in the room, LED flat screen TV with multitude channel, en-suited bathroom with separate bathtub and rain shower, free WiFi, one-time complementary minibar with tea and coffee making facilities, working desks come as standard, and private patio overlooking the garden and lush swimming pool. All rooms include a private bathroom equipped with a bath, a hairdryer and elegant toiletries. For extra comfort, guests are provided with bathrobes and slippers.

Nearly afternoon time, the butler sent to our room a complimentary snack and freshly lemon infused water with beautiful set up. We enjoyed it while looking at the swimming pool. The pool it so inviting to dip in, but it was a heavy rain, and my sons were ask to play in the kids club, so instead of swim we decided went to one of the resort highlight. That is the kids club, named Meera means Ocean.

Meera kids club, really know how to entertained the hotel young guest with their various activity. From trampoline, slide, mini theatre, nap room, PS4, legos, and many more is provided here. The kids club has two-floor area, the first is the slide trampoline, nap room, toilet, mini cinema, and the second floor with mezzanine style is the playroom for toys and spacious sitting area. Built in from woods, it’s designed as an ark pavilion, with nautical interior style.

On our way to kids club, it’s time for chocolate hour. We think a bunch of sweet treats will boost our energy and fulfill our cheeriness in the gloomy afternoon. Since Mövenpick is the Switzerland hotel brands chain, and Swiss is famously with their chocolate product, Mövenpick Resort Jimbaran think that they should have a chocolate hour to share the delicate chocolate recipe from Switzerland.

Chocolate hour starts from 4pm-5pm and it’s a complimentary to Mövenpick stayed guest. A free flow chocolate hour of any kind of delicious Belgian Chocolate dessert, it could be chocolate fountain, cakes, or milkshakes.

As Bali is the endless summer city and where it’s all about sun-drenched days, Mövenpick offer their tropical novelty with their colossal lagoon shaping swimming pool. Occupying 2500 sqm area, the swimming pool at Mövenpick Resort Jimbaran is one of their resort vantage points. Refreshed with shady palms, and completed with artificial beach sandy pool, water slide and spill water galloon, private pool cabanas, and floating day bed. Expect heavy doses of pampering at the sparkling mega-pool of the Mövenpick Resort Jimbaran. Enjoy an uninterrupted blue sky view from your cabanas or floating day bed, while pool attendants come around with treats throughout the day, from frozen fruits skewers.

Landed next to the hotel is Samasta Lifestyle Village, an innovative shopping mall concept in an unparalleled setting. This offers you an unbeatable shopping experience connected to the hotel.

In the morning at Anarasa Restaurant, the hotel prepared those sumptuous morning buffets. Anarasa buffet is the hotel’s family-friendly option with a huge variety that appeals to kids and fussy eaters, as well as big appetites or those looking for something different.

Mövenpick Resort Jimbaran provides enough reasons to never leave the hotel with its facility and activity to pleased the whole family.
