With more than a few buffet brunches to choose from on the island, one in particular stands out for me, that being the ever so popular Westin family brunch in their Prego restaurant.
This restaurant is easily to find and just close to the parking area. Entering the restaurant, you are soon greets by a friendly host. Moreover, if you bring kiddos and other family member here, you just know at that moment, this is the right place for your family time here. A colorful helium balloon is floating in every chair it just gives a playful atmosphere here.
An elegant interior style of the restaurant with natural lighting from outside is nicely laid out with floor to ceiling windows, next to gardens as kid’s playground, and as many families attend the brunch, the parents can enjoy their brunch while watching the kids enjoy theirs.
The various Italian dishes beautifully line up in buffet counters, this just add my visually appealing. At the main course area with open kitchen, you have all of their meat selections including pork ribs, fish and chips, and you can find babi guling here, an authentic Balinese food. Other choice absolutely is their Italian dishes including some delicious pasta with sauce option, pizzas, other authentic Italian dish, and more. They put the menu sample in front of the kitchen and guest can ask directly to order the food, as well as guest can choose the pasta variety by they self, so the dish is well prepared and perfectly served for guest.
In the center area, they have all the mouthwatering modern Italian appetizer, fine selection of cheese, and multi-grain breads.
As they called family brunch, Prego know exactly how to make children keep busy. From the helium balloon, spacious children playground in the garden, swimming pool, and the new highlights is their SuperChefs program, that is all about having fun in the kitchen. Kids will be astonished, by using chef attire such as apron and chef hats. With Prego staff supervision, children can make their own sandwich or put topping on pizza. A little buffet counter served pizza, cheese vegetable, and pasta with kiddy cutleries is prepared for your little one too.
An entertaining gimmick ready to amaze your child with some tricks with the magician, to keep you children smile and laughing. Do not forget to meet Pipo the squirrel, a mascot from Prego restaurant.
That’s would not call as family brunch if there is no activity for whole family. So, Prego have outdoor activity and every family member can follow this activity. They have tug of war! All the children and parents can join and against other family, in this activity restaurant staffs join the game including the chef.
Still hungry for more? Well, after exhausted activity you may just have room for dessert! If you do have a sweet tooth then your first impression with the dessert selection is the chocolate fountain, you can dip some fruit here. Besides, there are trays full of chocolate cake, mousse, tiramisu, cheesecake, fruits, fruit pie, pandan cakes, various gelato, and literally jars full of cookies – so make sure you save some rooms!

This fun day brunch offered every Sunday from 11.30 am – 3.00 pm, Prego Family Brunch is priced at just IDR 445.000 Net per person including a signature aperitivo on arrival along with complimentary Illy coffees and JING teas. Alternatively, just IDR 695.000 Net per person also covers free flow wine, beer and selected cocktails. The price is IDR 170.000 Net per child between 4 -12 years old and little ones under the age of 4 years eats for free.
