Quintessential Sake Pairing Dinner with Ozeki Sake at Kayuputi Restaurant

For years sake, a traditional Japanese fermented drink, has been considered an exotic beverage, to be consumed exclusively with sushi and best served boiling hot, notorious for causing epic hangovers. This differs with today’s premium sakes. Their fragrances, flavors, complexity and nuances are magical and fascinating. As the range of these aromas and tastes are wonderfully diverse, they can be enhanced by pairing with a wide range of foods, not limited to Japanese cuisine.

Award-winning Kayuputi restaurant proudly presents a quintessential sake pairing dinner with Ozeki sake on Saturday, 9 March 2019. Delight your taste buds with a delectable 5-course menu handcrafted by Executive Chef Agung Gede, paired with premium quality sakes and presented by Ozeki’s sake master, Takashi Ebitani, who will also share more insights into the traditions of sake and its delights.

Ozeki sake, established in Imazu, Hyogo Prefecture and founded by Osakaya Chobei, is one of the major sake brewers in Japan since 1711. Ozeki sake has expanded their production to the US since the 70’s and is currently producing and locally brewing sake in the state of California.
