Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort has recently won awards in multiple categories at the World Travel Awards 2017. Held annually since 2006, the prestigious awards have served to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry.
Among the many categories, this year’s award has included mention of Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort as winner in two coveted nominations, namely: ‘Indonesia’s Leading Resort 2017’ and ‘Bali’s Leading Resort 2017’. Sofitel Bali triumphed over other nominees slated for the ‘Indonesia’s Leading Resort 2017’ title, which included Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay, Mandapa A Ritz Carlton Reserve, The Bulgari Resort Bali, and The St. Regis Bali Resort, among others. Last year’s winner in the category was Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay.
The 24th World Travel Awards Asia & Australasia Gala Ceremony was held at the Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai in June 4, 2017, and was attended by 250 hospitality leaders from across the regions. Later this year, the winners so far are expected to compete for the global titles at the Grand Final in Vietnam.
