Ulu Cliffhouse presents the ‘Love for Lombok’
Ulu Cliffhouse, in partnership with projectkarma.org.au in conjunction with ‘Team action Amed’ and classroomofhope.org, presents the ‘Love for Lombok’ fundraising event to support those affected by the recent earthquakes in Lombok. We thought this would be of interest to you and your readers.
On September 1st, Ulu Cliffhouse is bringing 12 of Bali’s All Star Dj’s to play 12 hours of back-to-back music alongside Bali Circus entertainers, face painters, photobooths, raffles and a mind blowing auction of incredible prizes. It promises to be a spectacular day and night!
Since the initial earthquake struck, the scale of the devastation and destruction has been beyond comprehension. With over 400 confirmed deaths, over 500 aftershocks and more than 350,000 people displaced, the need for ongoing food, shelter and aid is urgent. Together with all of their generous donators and bidders, Ulu Cliffhouse will be donating 100% of all proceeds from the raffle and auctions + profits from sales raised on the day, with the aim of raising USD$100K.
Classroom of Hope will be allocating these funds to build 15 temporary schools, to ensure displaced children in Lombok continue to receive education whilst homes and infrastructure is rebuilt. Project Karma will continue to provide much needed aid, food, shelter to those in need.
Kicking the event off with incredible yoga sessions from 6am-12pm on the breathtaking Ocean Deck at Ulu Cliffhouse, things then hot up from noon with the all star line up of resident DJ’s volunteering their time to keep the music spinning late into the night. The venue will be full of activities and activations – from a restaurant tasting menu, to Bali Circus’ incredible performers, as well Ulu Clliffhouse’s Barbecue menu, specially priced cocktails and other drinks from the generous sponsors. The highlight of the day will be a major auction taking place at 4pm with over 30 incredible prizes ranging from week long stays in one of Balis most exclusive 5 star villas, to 1000 sq/m of freehold land.
