Islandwide Month-long Wine Festival
Wine Lust 2019 returns for a third edition as 1-Group celebrates all things wine in the month-long festival from 1 to 31 August, with an intimate affair spread across of 9 award-winning restaurants, featuring specialist wine events, luscious brunches and happy hour offerings. Over the month, wine connoisseurs and enthusiasts can expect special wine events under ‘Wine Lust Journeys’; plus, casual menus with BYO through the partnership with Chope under ‘Wine then Dine’.
This unique islandwide wine event started in 2017 as a celebratory project organised by the 1-Group, one of Singapore’s most prominent lifestyle F&B groups of award-winning restaurants, bars and clubs. The 2019 edition will see the introduction of all 3 of 1-Group’s new lifestyle enclaves – Alkaff Mansion, Riverhouse and Outpost, joining four of the group’s properties, including The Garage, The Summerhouse, Monti, and Stellar at 1-Altitude.
As with last year, the ‘Wine Lust Journeys’ is a series of wine events at the various participating venues across the island. A month-long celebration and appreciation of the finest wine, where guests can immerse themselves in anecdotes and knowledge that will be shared by wine-makers from around the world while enjoying other convivial dining experiences.
Wine Lust is the first in Singapore to introduce a true wine-then-dine experience. Through Chope, customers can conveniently purchase special Wine Lust menus at participating venues, which entitles them to have corkage free wines serve alongside these menus. Wine lovers can visit some of Singapore’s boutique wine retailers (in-store and online) to enjoy special prices off Wine Lust ‘wines of the month’, or alternatively bring a Duty-paid bottle of their choice from home. Venues include Stellar at 1-Altitude, MontI at the Fullerton Pavilion, The SummerHouse, Botanico at the Garage, Una at Alkaff Mansion and Mimi at Riverhouse.

MONTH-LONG NEGRONI ON TAP
Together with Angra, Monti presents its cornerstone cocktail, the inimitably satisfying Negroni. With equal parts iconic, Italian, and heavenly, it lends you a certain continental sophistication. For a month, taste the quintessential, spirit forward cocktail – the perfect drink for an afterwork aperitif.

Chefs Day Off Pop-Up (at Level 7 of The Outpost Hotel)
Get up close and personal with chefs on their day off with front-row access to the chef’s table set within an open kitchen at the Chefs Day Off pop-up by 1-Group. During the month of August, diners get to enjoy free corkage (BYOB) when they dine at the pop-up. CELLARMASTER WINE DINNER
Savour a winning East-meets-West combination of the finest wines paired exquisitely with an exclusively curated 6-course dinner of the best Modern Chinese creations. Featuring an array of award-winning wines, diners can expect intriguing flavours of the East paired with Jermann Chardonnay IGT 2017 with 93 points by James Suckling, Kanonkop Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 with 89 points by Neal Martin, and many more.

Bask in the charm of The Summerhouse’s restored heritage bungalow and spend a leisurely afternoon enjoying a farm-to-table, a-la-caret buffet brunch, accompanied by a selection of 5 biodynamic and sustainable wines by notable Fine Wine Merchant, Crystal Wines. Crystal Wines will be available for purchase by the bottle at a special price with waiver of corkage fees for the enjoyment of our guests.

This ambient barbecue held in the courtyard of The Summerhouse’s edible garden, will include complimentary tastings of biodynamic and sustainable wines with recommendations by our Wine Concierge. Guests will enjoy a charming barbecue dinner, grilled to perfection, served communal-style while full bottles of biodynamic and sustainable wines will be ready and available for purchase on the spot with waiver of corkage fees.

WINE LUST AFTERNOON AFFAIR
This signature Wine Lust event allows oenophiles to have a complimentary tasting of over 70 unique wines from around the globe under the Old World charm of the conserved heritage building and the lush surrounding nature as well as live music by the terrace bar. Guests can even continue to enjoy their favourite tipple at home for a special price, if they decide to purchase by the glass, bottle or case. There will also be great food by Chef Sujatha Asokan with small plates stations at $10++ each.
