SereS Springs Resort & Spa Singakerta introduces Balinese set menu as a form of support for the 2nd Sustainable Food Festival held by the Bali Hotels Association (BHA). Consist of 3-Course Set Menu from soup, main course, and dessert, thus available for lunch and dinner starting 8 – 24 July 2022.
The Languan Soup served as a starter, provides its own freshness to the entire menu. Ingredients uses in the soup includes fish ball with tomato, cucumber and flavoured with turmeric, ginger and kemangi leaf.
While the main course in this set menu contains of Traditional free-range duck simmered with Aromatic & medicinal herbs, Steamed Red Rice, Egg Balado, Long Beans with Grated Coconut, Satay Lillit, Shredded Chicken, Grilled White Fish with Raw Shallot & Chili Sambal. Served with Assorted Sambals, Peanuts & Crackers.
New style of Kolak is served as a dessert with caramelized banana, sweet potato served with sago pearl, coconut Gelato & purple yam. Guest can enjoy this Balinese Set Menu with price only at IDR 245.000 net.
Participated by 44 member hotels and restaurants, this festival highlights 3 key sustainability criteria such as a minimum of two items featured for lunch and three items for dinner, the ingredients used must be 100 percent sourced from Indonesian, and menus are encouraged to showcase Indonesian delicacies such as rendang, Balado, as well as organically grown produce. The festival also aims at reducing waste output, as close to zero as possible by encouraging waste reduction activities such as composting and waste separation to facilitate recycling.
