A Culinary Tribute to Sulawesi: Ikan Restaurant x SEMAJA at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali

This August, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali continues its flavorful journey across Indonesia with the third chapter of Travelogues of the Archipelago. From 15 to 17 August 2025, the spotlight turns to Sulawesi—a land of bold flavors, rich traditions, and diverse culinary heritage. Set against the scenic backdrop of Ikan Restaurant’s beachfront setting, this event invites diners to discover the island’s soul through food.

After exploring the essence of Bali and Sumatra in the first two chapters, this edition features a special collaboration between Chef Raviel Sidik of Ikan and Chef Glenn Erari of SEMAJA. Together, they craft a menu that brings Sulawesi to life—featuring traditional family recipes, creative takes on beloved street foods, and a tasting of arak cap Tikus, the iconic artisanal spirit of Manado.

Each evening from 5:30 PM onwards, travellers are welcomed to dine by the ocean, letting the sea breeze and rhythmic waves accompany their culinary experience. The event is more than just a dinner—it’s a celebration of Indonesian identity, heritage, and the shared joy of storytelling through food.
