The Apurva Kempinski Bali proudly concluded the Powerful Indonesia Festival 2025, a two day celebration held on 16–17 August at the Candi Ballroom to mark Indonesia’s 80th year of independence.

The festival brought together heritage, contemporary expression, and sustainability through art exhibitions, creative markets, culinary showcases, and masterclasses, offering the public an immersive way to experience Indonesia’s cultural richness.

The programme featured inspiring highlights, including Made Bayak’s Placticology talk on transforming plastic waste into art, and eco-friendly installations by Dwymabim and Daur Tera, who introduced the Daur Ulang Movement.

Performances blended tradition and modernity, with Kecak Kobagi presenting a revitalised Kecak dance, Ayu Laksmi delivering a transcendent musical journey, and DJ sessions by Rika, Richart Volx, and more bringing diverse rhythms to the stage.

Food stalls showcasing authentic flavors, from Nasi Campur Apurva to nostalgic street snacks, added to the festive spirit, while the Creative Market highlighted Indonesian craftsmanship and innovation.

Featuring SMEs mentored by Bank Central Asia (BCA) alongside artisans from the resort’s Asha Curated Boutique & Gallery, the market underscored the importance of community impact and sustainability in Indonesia’s creative economy.

A special tribute was dedicated to Indonesia’s veterans, honouring their courage and sacrifices through a heartfelt ceremony and a poem inspired by their own stories. With its vibrant blend of culture, creativity, and community, the Powerful Indonesia Festival 2025 stood as a memorable celebration of the nation’s diversity and resilience, reinforcing the spirit of Powerful Indonesia to The World.
