Their infinity swimming pool furnished with spacious ironwood deck completed with poolside daybeds, gazebo and umbrellas facing the jungle valley view, with nothing you could hear but birds chipping when lounging by the pool.

Herb Library

Step away from the pool, the all day dining restaurant, serving breakfast each morning and also provide in-room dining. This restaurant is one of the resort highlight called Herb Library. Dedicated to Ubud healthy lifestyle, Herb Library offers an all plant-based menu or quote on their entrance said as “vegan food with omnivore choice”. Herb Library focused on vegetarian menu, yet they still have omnivore options for most dishes whose would like animal protein like chicken or seafood.

The signature dish that you should try is Rwa Bineda Lemper Udang; steaming coconut white and red rice stuffed with local spices chopped prawns in banana leaves, served with ginger flowers sambal and sautéed water spinach. Japanese sushi bowl that consist tofu, brown rice, seasonal green vegetables, adzuki beans, nori, soy, ginger, sesame & wasabi dressing. Then I end up with some sweets and choose for Klapertart with coconut sorbet. For health refreshment I order The Green detox, a fresh mix juice from cucumber, apple, capsicum, celery, lime and also the unique yet healthy The Sultan Yogyakarta’s beer

Tejas Spa

As a healing retreat, Adiwana Resort Jembawan offers spa treatment inspired by the holistic teachings of Ayurveda, which is the world’s oldest healing system originating in India. At Tejas Spa, the treatment will take you on a journey of the deep. One of the spa signature treatments is Balinese Massage; starting from foot ritual cleansing, then continue to a full body massages that applied massage from soft -medium- to strong pressure techniques for therapy.

This massage uses the traditional Balinese techniques of firm finger and palm pressure together with long stimulating strokes. Medicated essential oil blend is applied to the skin during the massage, leaving it soft and relaxed. It does balance and relax the entire body, leaving the person feel both physically and mentally soothed.

With all the serenity I could experience, Adiwana Resort Jembawan is a jewel of retreat, gastronomy and romanticism, harmoniously intertwined with authentic Balinese hospitality.
