Cross Hotels & Resorts strengthens its presence in Indonesia with the signing of a Hotel Management Agreement (HMA) with PT Bali Penida Jaya for CROSS CELESTA NUSA PENIDA—a luxury eco-resort set to redefine sustainable hospitality. Perched atop the dramatic cliffs of Nusa Penida, this five-star retreat offers panoramic views of Kelingking Beach and the Indian Ocean, seamlessly blending nature with sophisticated design.
Scheduled to open in 2027, the resort will feature 61 luxury tented villas and world-class facilities, including infinity pools, a spa, a wellness center, a signature restaurant, and event spaces for weddings and corporate gatherings. Designed in collaboration with sustainable architecture firm Escape Nomade and landscaping experts SHL, the project reflects a commitment to eco-conscious development while elevating Nusa Penida as a premier global destination.
This partnership reinforces Cross Hotels & Resorts’ growing influence in Indonesia, complementing a diverse portfolio of six brands—Cross, Cross Vibe, Away, Lumen, Cross Collection, and Kaura. With a strong focus on responsible tourism, the tented villa concept minimizes environmental impact while offering an immersive experience in one of Indonesia’s most captivating landscapes.
“This landmark project embodies our vision for sustainable luxury and strengthens our footprint in Indonesia,” said Harry Thaliwal, CEO of Cross Hotels & Resorts. “By combining innovative design with responsible tourism, we are shaping a hospitality experience that is both inspiring and enduring.”
