Marriott Business Council Indonesia Supports SOS Indonesia’s Bali Food Rescue with New Truck

Marriott Business Council Indonesia is thrilled to introduce its new food truck, “Sadeva,” aimed at supporting SOS Indonesia’s humanitarian work by addressing food waste and providing surplus food to those in need. This initiative underscores Marriott International’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and social impact in Indonesia.

The launch event for “Sadeva” will be held at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali on 16 April 2024, bringing together members of Marriott Business Council Indonesia, SOS Indonesia representatives, and selected media partners. During this event, 200 food packs will be distributed to Yayasan Penyandang Anak Cacat (YPAC), showcasing the dedication to assisting vulnerable communities in Bali.

Funded by the proceeds from Marriott International Indonesia’s annual charity event, Road To Give 2023, “Sadeva” becomes the second food truck funded by Marriott International after the successful launch of “Doa Ibu” in Jakarta. “Sadeva” will continue the mission of collecting surplus food and distributing it to those in need in Nusa Dua and Jimbaran, Bali.

I Wayan Raksa, General Manager of The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud Bali and Co-chair of Marriott Business Council Bali, echoed this enthusiasm, highlighting “Sadeva” as a means to foster community and sustainability in Bali.
