The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali’s Annual Women Sharing Session event “Celebrate Women’ to be held this month
The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali has announced that its inspiring event ‘Celebrate Women’ will be held on Friday, 16th April 2021 at 4PM. Celebrate Women is an annual sharing session event organized by the resort in honor of women’s equality. It is held in celebrating two main days for women in March and April; the recent International Women’s Day as well as Indonesia Female Hero birthday, Kartini Day. This event will be held in a casual sharing session taking place right at the beachfront Ikan Restaurant with health protocols precisely in place.
For this year’s gathering, Celebrate Women invites five key individuals to share their experiences and insights as women in society and will be hosted by Indonesia’s media personality and author, Cheryl Marella. Bali’s psychiatrist and academician, Prof. Luh Ketut Suryani will speak about the importance of mental health, followed by a topic on healthy living by Mas Malaika Agung (the owner of Malaika Secret Moksha) and Brenda Richmond (the owner of Bali Buda).
Celebrating women also means celebrating bravery. Bali’s renowned MC Fia Bunova shares about how she bravely fought and won a battle against cancer. With bravery, you take chances – just like how Anbita Nadine Siregar (the founder of Generation Girl) encourages young girls to explore the male-dominated science, tech, engineering, and math (STEM) fields.
Generation Girl is an NGO that introduces a fun way for females to start their careers early in the STEM fields by organizing clubs and other events. In partnership with The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, Celebrate Women also hold a female-focused charity auction to support Generation Girl raise money to continue their impact-driven initiatives.
The breezy afternoon will be completed with tea-time treats prepared by the Resort’s female Executive Pastry Chef Mimin Mintarsih. Guests will also be entertained by a fashion show displaying stunning local Balinese Endek beautifully design by Rhea Cempaka, music rendezvous by Balinese young talented Singer, Gung Indi. Lucky draw session with great prizes will close this special afternoon.
