EXPLORING THE TASTE OF THE ARCHIPELAGO AT HOTEL NIKKO BALI BENOA BEACH

Following the official announcement by the Ministry of Tourism recently on five national dishes of Indonesia, Hotel Nikko Bali Benoa Beach has launched a special promotion featuring its take on the iconic dishes.

“The five dishes announced by the Minister of Tourism, Arief Yahya, have been a part of our menu,” explained Jean-Charles Le Coz, General Manager of Hotel Nikko Bali Benoa Beach, “And we take this opportunity to showcase them more prominently at our restaurants, Grand Benoa Resto and Bali Luna.”

The five dishes, Beef Rendang, Gado-Gado, Nasi Goreng, Soto Lamongan, and Sate, will be alternately showcased during breakfast at the Grand Benoa Resto, along with Indonesian traditional herbal drink, Jamu. During the time of the promotion, guests can enjoy any of these dishes at Bali Luna at a special price of only IDR 99,000 net per portion, for lunch or dinner.

“We try to keep them as authentic as we can, with the use of spices, herbs, and cooking method,” said Dewa Eka Putra, the new Bali-born Executive Chef. On each dish, Chef Dewa also added the calorie information per portion marking a new journey that the hotel is taking for Bali Luna.

“The restaurant will soon offer a selection of healthier take on Asian and Western-inspired favorites,” said Chef Dewa, “Our goal is to let our guests know that healthy food can be delicious as well, indulge without guilt. We also want, whenever we can, to use local selected ingredients, it makes the food authentic, enhances the taste and reduce carbon footprint; it’s good for all.”

Hotel Nikko Bali Benoa Beach offers an extensive culinary experience for its guests, including the signature Italian restaurant, Giorgio Italian Ristorante Pizzeria; a swim-up pool bar, Aloha; a laid-back beachside bar, By The C; the lobby lounge, Samudera Lounge. The hotel plans to add an authentic Japanese restaurant to its collection this year, bringing a traditional, yet affordable, Japanese experience to Nusa Dua and Tanjung Benoa area
