Founded two decades ago, the Dom Pérignon Society is a distinguished global community of 119 gastronomy chefs and sommeliers who share a passion for fine dining and the art of Dom Pérignon champagne.
This esteemed society is pleased to welcome Chef Maurizio Bombini, the acclaimed chef and owner of Bali’s MAURI Restaurant, known for its elevated Italian cuisine. Chef Maurizio, whose culinary approach draws deeply from his Italian roots in Puglia, brings an artful blend of authentic tradition and modern innovation that aligns beautifully with the values cherished by Dom Pérignon.
In a formal handover ceremony, Matthew Heng, chief representative of the Moët Hennessy Indonesia Representative Office, presented the Dom Pérignon Society plaque to Chef Maurizio. Heng remarked, “We are delighted to welcome Chef Maurizio and MAURI as Indonesia’s first members of the Dom Pérignon Society. His commitment to exquisite flavors and inventive cuisine truly echoes the craftsmanship of Dom Pérignon, enriching our community with his unique culinary voice.”
Chef Maurizio expressed his sentiments on the honor, saying, “Joining the prestigious Dom Pérignon Society is not only a dream come true but a testament to the dedication of my remarkable team. I look forward to exploring the symbiotic relationship between my culinary artistry and the exceptional champagnes of Dom Pérignon.”
Dedicated to shaping the future of gastronomy, the Dom Pérignon Society unites iconic figures and emerging talents to foster inspiring connections among chefs and sommeliers and to create ambitious projects that celebrate and elevate culinary artistry for generations to come.
